These are rules of how Brella OS is built, not promises about how Bird will behave.
Nothing leaves without you
Anything that reaches a policyholder, anything a certificate asserts and anything that can’t be undone waits on a card that shows what will go out and who it reaches.
- Typing a reply instead of confirming declines every card still waiting
- Bird’s work is logged as “your name via Bird”; customers read your name alone
- What Bird writes for a customer stays on the facts
Records are never guessed
When a fact is missing or two facts disagree, the product says so instead of filling the hole with something plausible.
- A contradicted answer, a “likely” code or a figure nobody gave isn’t written
- No surplus-lines deadline is invented; an undated filing reads “Set the deadline”
- A failed hazard lookup reads “Not checked”, never low
- A change to a bound policy goes to the carrier; the record waits for the endorsement
People, privacy and mistakes
Who sees what, who keeps what, and how a mistake is undone.
- Users see what is assigned to them; Owners and Managers see the agency
- Your conversations with Bird are private to you
- Your clients’ Bird can’t change anything, and says it isn’t a licensed agent
- Deleted records wait in the Bin for 30 days
